Step 1: Choose which type of ProductWiki Connect Widget you would like to install on your website:

iframe Widget

A ProductWiki report will appear directly on your product page in an iframe. This installation is ideal for use with a tabbed product page layout.

Button Widget

Clicking the ProductWiki button will popup a window displaying the matched ProductWiki report. This installation is ideal for a streamlined installation where space is limited.

Step 2: Select which method you want to use to match your products to ProductWiki reports:

Automatic

(quicker matching)

You will need to add server side code and be able to output your SKU to the product template.

Select the type of SKU you will use to match:

Simple

(easier installation)

This method doesn't require any server side coding; you only will be required to copy and paste some javascript code into your product template.

Volusion clients must select this option.

Step 3: Please fill out the following. You're almost done!

a) Website Domain:

ex. www.google.com (don't enter "http://")

b) jQuery:

Do you already have the jQuery javascript library on your product page? if unsure, keep unchecked

c) iframe resizer:

To properly resize the iframe widget, you will need to a place a small html file (productwiki.html, size <1 KB) on your server(s).

Where will you be placing this file?

At the root of my domain: www.domain.com/productwiki.html (recommended)

In a folder: ex. /folder/subfolder/ (URL will be www.domain.com/folder/subfolder/productwiki.html)

I'm using Volusion: www.domain.com/v/vspfiles/productwiki.html

I can't/won't be placing this file right now. The iframe will not be resized correctly.

Step 4: Copy and paste this code into your product page where you want the widget to appear.

By doing so you agree to the terms and conditions specified in the ProductWiki Connect Agreement.

Your ProductWiki Connect widget code:

Download this file: productwiki.html Right Click > Save Link As...
Place it on your server(s) at the following URL: http://www.domain.com/productwiki.html

Matched ProductWiki reports will appear right away on your website as soon as you implement this code.
Some products may not yet exist on ProductWiki. Contact scott@productwiki.com to get them added to our database.
ProductWiki reports will take time appear as we determine what reports match your products.
