To get up and running simply follow the instructions in installation guide. All that's involved is including our javascript plugin file, and placing an anchor tag where you want the ProductWiki report to show up. That's it. We handle all the matching between your site and our products automatically. It's about as simple as AdSense.

Products are matched through UPC, MPN, or ASIN values. This allows you to display the ProductWiki Connect information without any extra information or maintenance on your end.

Is this a Data Feed Service?
No. ProductWiki Connect is not a service to get your product data into the ProductWiki database. The ProductWiki Connect service is an enhancement to the retailer's website providing your customers with an interactive embedded ProductWiki report that increases trust and buying confidence. Does it affect my SEO?
Due to our iFrame solution you will not be penalized for duplicate content. In fact we've found that the higher quality landing page will result in decreased bounce rates and therefore higher positions and lower SEM spend.
Does it affect performance?
The iFrame solution means no extra load is put on your servers, and doesn't slow your page down. Also, if you are running a tabbed solution you can make it so the iFrame doesn't load until the tab is clicked.

Not really a question, but this is a valid concern. The whole point of this service is to keep customers on your site. In real world experience the number of visitors leaving the site is minuscule (one or two a week) and the benefits to conversion rates far outweigh any small loss in traffic.
What's the difference between the Widget and API?
The widget is a ready-built solution that integrates with your retail site very easily, and offers interactive ProductWiki features such as product tagging and ProCon reviews. The API is a programmatic interface to the ProductWiki data that is used for mashups or other alternative services.
